The Walnut House Company was founded with the specific purpose of designing and building English period replica furniture of the very highest quality.

We specialise in copying original English period furniture to precise detail, colour and patination, creating pieces that are imbued with so high an innate 'quality' that they can be considered as 'Antiques of the future'.

The ability to achieve such a high standard of replication comes through a combination of factors. Materials of the finest quality, meticulous attention to detail and not least the skill of our craftsmen, each of whom has served a long apprenticeship in the restoration of antiques and in cabinet making. The care with which they build each piece and their ability to reproduce the colour and patination of antique furniture is a skill born only of many years working with original pieces and will be self-evident in anything we make for you.

This website shows you a selection of furniture that comes from an established 'range' of over 300 different pieces and is further complimented by our ability to copy almost any antique that has ever existed on an individual 'Special Commission' basis. We have only recently started to retail under our own name, having previously operated mainly as a 'makers maker', building fine furniture on behalf of some of the most renowned interior design companies both here in the U.K. and abroad, as well as directly for British Embassies' corporate and private clients throughout Europe, America and the Middle East.
